Terms of Use
A few clear terms for using Mono.
These terms describe the Mono features and services provided by Good Snooze (Jordi Bruin). Contact [email protected] with questions.
The app and Apple’s license
The Mono app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that agreement and do not replace it. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Your recordings and replies
You retain your rights to the recordings and text you provide. Give Mono only the access needed to import, process, save, and share content at your direction. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to process recordings, including other people’s voices or personal information, and for what you choose to share.
Use Mono lawfully. Do not use the cloud service to infringe others’ rights, attempt to bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
AI results need your review
Transcripts, summaries, chapter boundaries, questions, tasks, and rewritten replies can contain errors or omit important context. Check results against the original recording before relying on them or sharing a reply. Mono is a tool for organizing conversations and is not a substitute for professional advice.
Free processing options
Supported Apple on-device processing is free in Mono. Availability depends on your device, operating system, language, and Apple’s model availability. You can also connect your own OpenAI API key without a Mono subscription. Your OpenAI account, usage charges, and provider terms apply to those requests.
Mono Plus
Mono Plus provides access to Mono Cloud through a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the applicable local price, billing period, and purchase terms before you confirm. Netherlands prices are €2 per week, €5 per month, €20 per year, and €50 for Lifetime. Other storefront prices may differ.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple charges your Apple Account according to the terms shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Canceling generally leaves access available until the paid period ends.
Lifetime is a one-time, non-renewing purchase with no subscription expiration. It unlocks the same Mono Cloud features as Plus subscriptions. Buying Lifetime does not cancel a separate active subscription; cancel that subscription through Apple if you no longer want it to renew. Refunded or revoked purchases do not grant continued paid access.
Use Restore Purchases in Mono when you need to restore eligible purchases with the same Apple Account. Apple administers payment and refund requests; visit Apple’s Report a Problem service for help. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
Availability and changes
Cloud processing needs an internet connection and depends on third-party services. Processing may be interrupted or unavailable because of maintenance, service failures, or provider changes. We may improve or update the app and will provide notice of material changes where required. These terms do not promise unlimited processing capacity or uninterrupted availability.
Your saved library, playback, and free processing options do not require an active Plus purchase. Keep copies of important original recordings; deleting a memo or losing a device can remove your local saved copy.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, cloud processing, purchases, diagnostics, and your choices. Select on-device processing when you want the processing of your recordings to remain local.
Responsibility and updates
The warranty and liability provisions in Apple’s standard license apply, subject to mandatory law. We do not exclude responsibilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. The date on this page identifies the current service terms; we will give any notice required for material changes.
